Roof Insulation

Product Description

Roof Insulation provides effective protection against heat, cold and noise pollution whilst reducing energy costs and providing comfort. It also provides effective thermal and Acoustic insulation whilst being both cost effective and eco-friendly. It is recommended for residential, horticultural, commercial and industrial roof systems. Roof insulation is 100% closed cell polyethylene foam, laminated with aluminum reflective film. Polyethylene foam has a very low rate of conduction, effectively reducing the amount of heat transmission into the building. It’s moisture resistant and unlike double bubble has a quality core that will not collapse over time and seals around nails to prevent leaking

Thermal Insulation

Our insulation has a low thermal conductivity, which is not affected by humidity or condensation. It reflects 97.1% of radiant heat and does not lose its thermal performance over time. Reflective insulation is most effective when airspace exists between the insulation and the adjacent material. Minimum recommended airspace is 25mm for residential roofs and 50mm for commercial roofs.

Acoustic Insulation

Rain noise is a potentially important noise source which must be considered at an early point in the roof design in order to minimize disturbance in the building. Durability: Roof Insulation is guaranteed during the lifespan of a building. It is resistant to dust, mould, mildew and bacteria and does not provide nesting to insects, birds or rodents. It is chemically inert and will not react with acids, alkalis or metals.

Product Range

Our different range of roof insulation product

This is an industrial grade heavy duty double-sided or single sided reflective foil insulation, with a closed cell polyethylene foam core which provides an effective thermal, vapor and noise barrier. It is a cost-effective insulation that is suitable for use in metal deck roofing system in commercial, industrial and horticultural buildings where temperature variations are moderately/ relatively high and where there is a need to reduce the disturbing rain noise.
APPLICATIONS
  • Pharmaceuticals facilities- Cool/cold rooms.
  • Storage facilities.
  • Buildings in cold and hot regions.
  • Churches.
  • Supermarkets/malls.
  • Buildings with low-lying roofs.
  • Agricultural facilities-pack houses, milk processing etc.
  • Mushrooms farms and animal sheds

This is a cost-effective insulation that is suitable for use in all roof systems, to increase the thermal comfort of building’s occupants. It provides a high R value at comparatively low cost. It is available with a double-sided reflective foil and single-sided reflective foil.
APPLICATIONS
  • Residential buildings with low lying roofs.
  • Manufacturing facilities.
  • Warehouses.

This is a high reflective roof insulation composed of closed cell polyethylene foam laminated on both sides with reinforced aluminum film. Aluminum Roof Insulation has high tear strength to weight ratio and is recommended for use in Commercial buildings. It is available with a double-side Aluminum film and single-sided, aluminum foil
APPLICATIONS
  • Residential buildings.
  • Manufacturing facilities.
  • Warehouses.

Regular Roof Insulation is a cost-effective residential building insulation that is suitable for use under timber and metal trusses where temperature variation is low or heat level is minimal or where ceilings are in use. It is available with a double-sided reflective foil and single-sided reflective foil.
APPLICATIONS
  • Residential buildings.

Our Flat roof is a semi rigid board, made of low density, close cell polyethylene foam. It is ideal as an under or over roof membrane insulation. It has a low thermal conductivity. It does not break and can take the weight of ballast or pavers if the roof area is also subject to pedestrian traffic. The product is flexible and can be easily cut and shaped to suit a variety of geometries. The product is available in various thicknesses to suit client specifications. 25mm, 50mm, 75mm & 100mm
FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Thermal Insulation is the reduction of heat transfer between objects in thermal contact or in range of radiant influence.

Averagely a temperature drops of 6°C, 8°C and 10°C for the thicknesses of 3mm,5mm & 10mm respectively.

Insulation reflects the solar radiant heat and blocks heat transfer through conduction and convection.

Yes, the insulation is laid on the purlins and given a small sag of about 25mm

The answer is yes. It’s placed underneath the purlins and supported by galvanized wires and a sag of about 100mm is highly recommended while installing it.The answer is yes. Thickness depends on a couple of things! Like how high or low your roof is, operating temperatures of the area to be insulated and more. Also, the thicker the insulation, the better the performance.

The answer to this question is NO. The product seals around the nails/screws once pierced.

No, the insulation does not collapse with time, it maintains its structure/form.

The lifespan of the insulation is 40-50 years!
